1. Eligibility:  StemCyte Family’s  “Win Free Cord Blood Banking” Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia and who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry.    Employees, officers and directors of StemCyte Family, (“Sponsor”), its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies and the immediate family members (spouses and parents, children and siblings and their spouses, regardless of where they live) or members of the same households (whether related or not) of such individuals are not eligible.  Void where prohibited.  Subject to all federal, state and local laws. 

2. To Enter:  You may enter the Sweepstakes yourself or on behalf of another person.  To enter,  go to www.freecordblood.com between 12:01 am Eastern Time (“ET”) on  and 11:59 pm ET on  (“promotion period”), complete the online entry form and submit so that it is received by Sponsor’s server by 11:59 pm ET on .  Limit one entry per person.

3. Winner Selection:  On or about , Binary Minds, Inc., an independent organization, will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the promotion period to award one Grand Prize.  Winner will be notified by email, mail and/or telephone at Sponsor’s sole discretion.  Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received.

4. Prize:  (1) Grand Prize:  Free cord blood banking program from StemCyte Family.  The prize consists of program enrollment fee, collection, shipping, processing, freezing, and storage for an 18-year period, related to the cord blood unit of a single child from birth.  Approximate retail value of Grand Prize is $3,000.

If your entry is chosen as the winner and you are a pregnant female, you may accept the prize for yourself and be deemed the winner, pending verification of your eligibility.  If you are not a pregnant female, you may choose a friend or family member who meets this qualification, as well as the eligibility requirements set forth in Section 1 above, to receive the prize.  This person may then accept the prize and be deemed the winner, pending verification of her eligibility.

The winner, once determined, must enroll in the StemCyte Family cord blood banking program no later than 30 days before her due date to ensure the proper consent forms are properly processed by the winner and medical caregivers.  Prize will be forfeited if not used by [forfeitdate].  The winner must be scheduled to deliver in the U.S.

5. General:  Taxes on prize and all expenses related to acceptance and use of prize and not specified are sole responsibility of winner.  Winner must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and (where legal) Publicity Release within 10 days of issuance of these documents.  If any prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected.  If winner is 18 or older, as is required for entry, but not of the age of majority in state of residence, parent or legal guardian must ratify and sign any and all documents required of winner.  No prize transfer, assignment, sale or cash redemption except as noted above in Section 4.  No prize substitution except by Sponsor due to prize unavailability in which case a prize of comparable or greater value will be awarded.  By participating, each entrant agrees [1] to be bound by these Official Rules; [2] to these rules and decisions of Sponsor and judges which shall be final in all respects relating to this sweepstakes; [3] that Sponsor, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies may use (unless prohibited by law) winner’s voice, city and state of residence, photograph and/or likeness for advertising and/or trade and/or any other purpose in any media now or hereafter known without further compensation, permission or notification and agree to execute specific consent to such use upon request and that the aforestated parties and all their respective advertising and/or trade officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability and will be held harmless for any liability, loss, injury or damage, including, without limitation, personal injury, death or damage to personal or real property, to entrant or any other person or entity due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize or participation in this sweepstakes.  Sponsor is not responsible for failures or malfunctions of phones, phone lines or telephone systems; interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; miscommunications, failed computer hardware or software or technical failures; garbled, misrouted or scrambled transmissions; incomplete entries or communications; or errors of any kind whether mechanical, human, electronic or otherwise; lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete or illegible transmissions, entries or postage-due mail; or any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsor that may cause the promotion to be disrupted or corrupted.  Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void any and all entries of an entrant whom Sponsor believes has attempted to tamper with or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this sweepstakes.  Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited.  In the event of a dispute as to the identity of any entrant, entrant will be deemed the individual named on applicable online entry form.  Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void suspect entries and/or modify, terminate or suspend this sweepstakes should a virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the sweepstakes and, in any such event, select the winner for the sweepstakes from eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to event requiring such modification, termination or suspension.
